I grew up in Oxford and studied Architecture at Dundee University. One of the reasons I chose Architecture was that I loved art and drawing at school. Modern architecture practice dictated all my time was spent working on a computer not a drawing board and I missed utilising my artistic skills. Painting and drawing in my spare time has enabled me to develop my drawing, attend watercolour courses and join a number of artist's groups. I took on commissions to produce house and building portraits for friends and family and now friends of friends which has led to the development of my business alongside working as a freelance Architect.
